When I try to use the product by the directions, I get water all over the place. I don't know.I am just writing it off as a bad investment. I'm not sure if my Senseo model may have been the wrong one. Was there supposed to be another part of help seal it better.
My son uses my Senseo when visiting, and he worked at Starbucks years ago. This little set up allows me to grind my own coffee and enjoy an "Americano" quality cup of coffee. You've just got to have this if you have a Senseo. I guess I would be called a coffee snob.I like my coffee. I haven't found any coffee pods that equal the flavor of Starbucks fresh ground coffee. He's getting married soon and I've purchased a Senseo AND the Presto MyPOD Replacement for he and his wife.
I can use much better quality coffee for much less money that the premade pods. I use it in the evening when I want one quick cup of a flavored coffee. I love this refillable pod. It's much more cost effective than buying the pre-made pods and I can use whatever coffee I want. I fill it with a scoop and a half of whatever coffee I'm in the mood for and make a cup in about 2 minutes.
It does not foam up like a Senseo at all. I give it 1 to 2 stars. Presto 09402 Mypod Refillable Personal Pod/coffee Holder +100 Extra Filters I used this and it is NOT the same as using a real pod of coffee. Coffee is weaker no matter how much you use.
It's kind of messy and doesn't seal as well as when using the pods. Yes you can make good coffee with this product and save some money while doing it. I would give it a b-
